Jujube Honey is sweet with an incomparable flavor
The Sidr tree or wild jujube, this isolated tree known for centuries for its immense curative properties. In the surah, the Quran evokes the benefits of this rare honey. It would be present in Paradise. Nicknamed Sidr Maliky or royal jujube, this honey comes from thorny bushes whose fruit is the jujube. The latter has a reddish aspect.
The Malagasy farmers also use it as a topping for the morning 'sosoa,' a rice porridge. It is the quintessential breakfast in the highlands of Madagascar. It will awaken the palate with sweetness. Rich in fatty acids, glucose, and vitamins, this honey is perfectly suitable for children.
The hive inhabitants cover vast distances to extract this nectar from jujube trees. A nectar so potent that many of these bees can make only an average of 10 trips throughout their lifetime.
